You’re welcome. For what? Oh, just finding you four amazing new Instagram accounts to follow. And when I say follow, I mean really follow. There are people who you follow out of obligation (your thirteen year old cousin, your lab partner, your good friends who only post once every three months) or people you follow but don’t really engage with (that person you kind of know who followed you so you followed back, fitness accounts). But then there are accounts that you follow passionately and actively (your BFF, your favorite celebrity, your go-to place to shop (@reddressboutique I’m sure)), and it is these accounts that you look out for on your feed. You like, you comment, you screenshot and send to friends, and I am pretty certain the following four accounts will quickly become some of your faves:
@hotdudesreading: So I stumbled across this Instagram account earlier this week, and it is probably my favorite right now. I think that there are few things hotter than a man holding a book, and this account is dedicated to candids of well dressed men reading on the Subway. So…yeah. Exhibits A, B, and C below of why you should go follow this account.
@marniethedog: Marnie is a dog that has a million more followers than you, and no I am not employing hyperbole to emphasize the popularity of this dog. She literally has a million more followers than you. At least. She is an adopted older dog, and her owner takes absurdly cute pictures and videos of her loving life. Sometimes when I am feeling low, I like to try and live vicariously through Marnie.
@natgeo: This is National Geographic‘s instagram, and you should follow it because 98% of their pictures don’t look real they are so cool. If you commit to reading their super long captions, you can also learn some new facts to share with your friends at work #YayLearning.
@jamieleereardin: Jamie is a fashion illustrator with a pretty impressive list of collabs. She has illustrated for Dior, DKNY, and Swarovski, just to name a few! I originally saw her work on Instagram, and since then I have been following her and even purchased a couple of her prints.
